Message	call it a day. It's legal, probably easier than any other way, and done often. I still laugh when I see car dealers advertising "Florida cars" as great deals. Most people assume Florida car = no rust, not Florida car = most likely totaled. Confirmed by a used car dealer friend I used to do side work for. And the car auction I worked at. * - obviously an exaggeration.
